This handsome piece is based on the full sized apothecary boxes which were common in the 1700-1800's.
Constructed in wood it has 6 shelves holding a total of 17 bottles,all labelled,with varying degrees of content in both volume and colour.All these can be removed.
There are also 2 opening ,filled drawers with one empty,to add your own items.
The top drawer is the empty and the  one the one below contains  a set of scales (non functioning)The 3rd larger drawer has a pestle and mortar and an  intricate spoon,
To the front are 2 keyholes, and matching handles.
 
Height of piece just over 1.5" or 3.75cm
Depth  1 1/8" or 3 cm.
